As an Aegis Recruiter you will play a critical role in sourcing, screening and hiring exempt and nonexempt level team members across Aegis Living communities. You will develop, implement, facilitate and lead all phases of the recruiting process from attraction to hire, partnering closely with senior leadership, hiring managers, Community General Managers and Directors within the Aegis home office and communities to understand staffing needs, source qualified candidates and manage high-volume, fast-paced recruitment efforts across multiple locations and disciplines. You will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization. This role will be local to Seattle/Eastside region and will work out of our Aegis Home Office in Bellevue, WA with the expectation of traveling to the communities within the greater Seattle area.

Salary: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 annually

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Partners with Senior Leaders and Hiring Managers to identify needs and develop detailed hiring criteria.
  • Creates and drives efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on industry standards, employment market and organizational needs.
  • Owns the job posting processes.
  • Sources and screens applicants and selects qualified candidates to present to Senior Leadership and Hiring Manager.
  • Maintains timely communication with job applicants throughout the hiring process.
  • Responsible for identifying and tracking success metrics and developing solutions and fresh ideas to scale our recruiting function.
  • Maintains a pipeline of quality candidates to meet hiring needs quickly and efficiently.
  • Use analytics to drive Talent Acquisition and business decisions; build and enable a data driven approach to recruiting.
  • Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
  • Coordinates the interview process with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
  • Partners with local schools, universities, organizations, and employment specialists to find qualified talent.
  • Works towards and achieves individual and team metrics and goals.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  • Coordinates and participates in job fairs and other recruiting events.
  • Performs additional project work as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications:  

  • Minimum of 4 years of full-cycle or high-volume recruiting experience required. Healthcare or senior living recruiting experience a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate negotiation & project management skills.
  • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
  • Experience in building and managing large-scale projects that impact the enterprise to optimize talent acquisition operating model.
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
  • Experience building research to build talent networks and develop targeted talent, companies and geographics.
  • Experience in creating robust search strategies to identify and attract top talent to drive Aegis Living’s future business growth.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
  • Experience in working in a team environment with identified metrics and goals.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems. Experience using iCIMS a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel
