We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and empathetic Interior Designer to join our team. This role is critical in creating functional, safe, and aesthetically pleasing spaces that promote comfort, independence, and quality of life for aging adults. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, project managers, and facility staff, to bring innovative and thoughtful design solutions to life.

• Design Development: Create and present design concepts that align with the needs of senior residents, combining safety, accessibility, and elegance.
• Space Planning: Develop functional layouts that support ease of mobility and wayfinding, considering ADA compliance and industry best practices.
• FF&E Specification: Select and specify furnishings, fixtures, equipment, and finishes suitable for senior living facilities, with attention to durability, ease of maintenance, and resident comfort.
• Project Management: Oversee design aspects from concept through installation, ensuring project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
• Client Interaction: Work closely with stakeholders, including developers, operators, and residents—to understand their vision and incorporate feedback.
• Code Compliance: Ensure all design work adheres to relevant codes and regulations (e.g., ADA, Fair Housing Act, Life Safety Codes).
• Documentation: Prepare detailed design documents, materials boards, and renderings using tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.

• Bachelor’s degree in interior design or related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in interior design, with a strong portfolio in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality sectors.
• Knowledge of age-in-place and universal design principles.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other industry-standard design software.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel to 30% of the time
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
